- For China Airlines / Mandarin Airlines operating flights, checked baggage exceeding 32 kg (70 lbs) per item will not be accepted for transport according to regulations. For special items exceeding 32 kg (70 lbs), please contact China Airlines Reservation offices at least 48 hours prior to flight departure to obtain approval before they can be accepted for transport. For codeshare flights operated by other carriers, please refer to the Interline Baggage Rules.
- For passengers holding tickets issued on an itinerary with a transfer in Taiwan, baggage should be checked in through to the passenger’s final destination.

- Please use a suitable, sturdy suitcase to pack your baggage and ensure that it will not be damaged or cause damage to the contents during normal handling.
- Do not place fragile items, perishable items, valuable items, or important personal belongings in checked baggage.
